PicassoMD Named a Winner in HLTH Foundation’s 2026 Techquity for Health Awards

PicassoMD was recognized for its clinician-centered approach to expanding equitable access to specialty care for frontline providers and the patients they serve.

PicassoMD has been named a Winner of the 2026 Techquity for Health Awards, a global case-study program presented by the HLTH Foundation that recognizes digital health innovations designed to close gaps in access, outcomes, and experience.

The Techquity for Health Awards honor organizations that move equity from aspiration to execution. This year, PicassoMD was selected as one of three winners worldwide for its work redesigning how frontline clinicians access specialty expertise, particularly in settings where time, resources, and referral options are limited.

“This recognition is deeply meaningful because it validates what we see every day in practice,” said Dr. Reza Sanai, co-CEO. “When clinicians are supported with the right tools at the right moment, patients get better care. Equity improves not through intention alone, but through systems that actually work in the real world.”

PicassoMD was recognized for its clinician-centered approach to specialty access, enabling primary care teams to get timely guidance, reduce unnecessary referrals and delays, and deliver higher-quality care within the constraints they face. By prioritizing usability, workflow integration, and partnership with health systems and providers, PicassoMD helps ensure that expertise reaches patients who might otherwise encounter barriers to care.

Winners were selected through a rigorous evaluation process assessing population-centered design, partnership strength, data stewardship, technology usability, evaluation metrics, and foundational business practices. Award recipients will be recognized during ViVE 2026, taking place February 22–25, 2026, in Los Angeles.

For PicassoMD, this award marks an important milestone, but not an endpoint. The company remains focused on expanding access to high-value specialty care, supporting frontline clinicians, and continuing to build systems that make equitable care possible at scale.
